  • Keeping score solo at a ballgame is one of my absolute favorite things to do! Tonight: Fenway.

  • Whilst enjoying a ridiculously beautiful pre-gig sunset in Kennebunkport last night, we realized that in the past six months we've played shows from sea to shining sea and so many wonderful places in between. So grateful. Tonight's show is in Westerly, Rhode Island at Perks and Corks from 8-11. Happy Sunday, y'all!

  • Yesterday was one for the books, y'all. Church, lunch, and great conversation with my cousin Tiffany. Then we got to see my incredibly talented friend Erica perform on Broadway in fancy box seats. Next came the backstage tour, which was so cool, especially the pit where the musicians perform. It just so happened to be Annie Potts' final performance in Pippin (which was phenomenal), and we went to the cast afterparty hosted by Annie, who was so lovely. Then salsa dancing on the pier, whiskey, solving the world's problems, talking art and life, and finally, pizza. Thanks Tiff, Erica, and Alex for the amazing day!

LIBBY'S NEW ALBUM, TENNESSEE COLONY, IS HERE!

Tennessee Colony, the third full-length solo album from Houston Americana artist Libby Koch, was released by Berkalin Records on April 8, 2014. The album is a collection of ten songs about family, faith, and home. Tennessee Colony is the name of the small town in East Texas where Libby's family settled in the mid-1800's. Several of the songs are based directly on stories Libby heard from her grandparents while growing up.

The album was produced by Jack Saunders at White Cat Studios in Houston, and mastered by Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova Digital Audio in Austin. It features performances by an outstanding collection of Texas musicians, including Susan Gibson, Rick Richards, Rankin Peters, Lainey Balagia, Debbie Byrd, Brant Croucher, Joe Devadanam, Sarah Golden, Allen Huff, Brian Kalinec, Jack Saunders, Matt Slusher and Trevor Smith of Wood and Wire, Eleanor Whitmore of The Mastersons, Riley Osbourn, and Lloyd Maines.
