Hi y'all!
It isn't officially here yet, but summer is in full swing here in my little world. The temps are firmly in the 90's, the Astros have the best record in baseball, and we have some seriously fantastic tours coming up, so I'm a happy camper already. I am also extra happy for my amazing mom, who just retired after 35 years of teaching and 23 years at my alma mater, Stratford High School in Houston! I'm so proud of everything she accomplished in her teaching career, and I'm looking forward to her next chapter of well deserved relaxation, travel, and good times.

In June, I'll be sticking close to home and playing lots of fun local shows with my friends. Highlights include this Thursday at Hill's Cafein Austin with Tom Meny, June 22nd with Alice Wallace and The Boomswagglers at Poodies, June 23rd at the Old Quarter in Galveston opening for JOE ELY (WOW!!!!! Tickets HERE), and June 24th for my debut performance at one of my favorite venues, The Bugle Boy in La Grange, with Chuck Hawthorne (Tickets HERE)! On June 25th, Chuck and I will be back at the Bugle Boy from 1:30-4:30pm to lead the Soldier Songs & Voices group - if you know any veterans who are in the area and interested in free music lessons, please send them our way!
In July, Chuck, Bridget, and I are hitting the road and beating the heat with a run of house concerts in the Rocky Mountains! So far we have dates in Cortez and Aspen, Colorado, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Missoula and Ovando, Montana, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Amarillo, Texas! We do have a few open dates available, so if you are anywhere nearby and have interest in hosting us for a house concert, please reply to this email and let me know! The band and I will also be playing one hometown Houston show at the newly revamped Four Seasons poolside area downtown on Friday, July 21st!
After a couple of weeks at home we will hop on a plane for another tour to the UK and Ireland! We are still adding more dates on this run too, but I'm excited to be playing shows with Chuck Hawthorne, Rachel Laven, Charlie Roth, Davy Cowan, Matt Morrow, and many more stellar artists!
