LIBBY'S NEW ALBUM, TENNESSEE COLONY, IS HERE!

Tennessee Colony, the third full-length solo album from Houston Americana artist Libby Koch, was released by Berkalin Records on April 8, 2014. The album is a collection of ten songs about family, faith, and home. Tennessee Colony is the name of the small town in East Texas where Libby's family settled in the mid-1800's. Several of the songs are based directly on stories Libby heard from her grandparents while growing up.

The album was produced by Jack Saunders at White Cat Studios in Houston, and mastered by Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova Digital Audio in Austin. It features performances by an outstanding collection of Texas musicians, including Susan Gibson, Rick Richards, Rankin Peters, Lainey Balagia, Debbie Byrd, Brant Croucher, Joe Devadanam, Sarah Golden, Allen Huff, Brian Kalinec, Jack Saunders, Matt Slusher and Trevor Smith of Wood and Wire, Eleanor Whitmore of The Mastersons, Riley Osbourn, and Lloyd Maines.
